I think the greatest thing Obama and Netanyahu can do is to give Palestinians a state. Iran should not be an excuse why that should not be done. It is shock all the elements in the region that use that as an excuse for all the insanity they inflict on us all. The best way to expose a lie is to hand it a mirror.

Netanyahu can not do any thing contrary to his Zionist ideology. We can expect something from Obama but I doubt if pro Israel lobby in USA will allow him to do anything constructive?

Rudolf, for the Palestinians to have a state, they have to be willing to live in peace with their neighbors. So says the US, the Quartet, the EU, Russia and the UN Charter.
Had the Palestinians (and the Arabs in general) been willing to live at peace with Israel, they could have had their state 61 years ago, but their only ambition is to have their state not alongside Israel, but instead of Israel.
I can’t find any clause or paragraph in international law that says a country has to commit suicide to please other nations– on the contrary, UN Charter Article 51 specifically states that any nation has the right to defend itself against aggression.
